Chief Executive Officer, Fortune Brands Home & Security

Chris Klein is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Fortune Brands Home & Security, which includes four operating groups: Cabinets, Plumbing, Doors and Security. 

Chris joined Fortune Brands in April 2003 as Senior Vice President – Strategy and Corporate Development. In this role, Chris managed all mergers and acquisitions activity, corporate strategy development, capital allocation and human resources. During this period, Chris worked with the CEO and the Board to refine the company’s strategy and helped reshape the company by leading 18 acquisitions and divestitures totaling over $10 billion. Chris began his leadership of the Home & Security business in 2009.

Prior to joining Fortune Brands, Chris held key strategy and operating positions at Bank One Corporation. He previously spent eight years at the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. Chris spent his early career in commercial banking, at both ABN AMRO and First Chicago.

Chris graduated from the University of Iowa’s business school (BBA) in 1985 and earned his MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 1989.

Lee joined Fortune Brands Home & Security in June 2011 as Chief Financial Officer. Previously he served as Chief Financial Officer of Hanesbrands. Prior to that, he served as a Vice President of Sara Lee and as Chief Financial Officer of Sara Lee Branded Apparel. He has also served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Sonic Automotive, Inc., and Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Sealy Corporation. Lee graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a BS in accounting. He has an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Mike is responsible for Fortune Brands’ Security segment, The Master Lock Company, which includes SentrySafe.  Prior to joining Master Lock in December 2014, Mike has been with Moen for more than 17 years and most recently has been the leader for all U.S. businesses.  Before this, Mike held a variety of roles within Moen including Vice President and General Manager of U.S. Retail, Senior Director of Marketing for U.S. Wholesale, and prior to that for the Accessory Business Unit, Director of Finance and Operations for Accessories and Corporate Controller.  Before coming to Moen, Mike worked at Nook Industries, Avery Dennison Corporation and Coopers and Lybrand. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management and a Bachelor's Degree from Cleveland State University.

Bob joined Fortune Brands Home & Security as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in December 2013. Prior to joining the company, he spent 29 years at PepsiCo where he held senior legal roles across most of its business units and geographic regions. He served in several general counsel roles for PepsiCo Worldwide Beverages, PepsiCo Americas Beverages and PepsiCo Latin America Food & Beverage across more than 150 countries. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Bob spent 5 years with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, a New York law firm.  Bob earned a B.A. from Princeton University and a law degree from Fordham University School of Law.

Sheri joined Fortune Brands in February 2015 as Senior Vice President – Human Resources. Prior to her role at Fortune Brands, she was Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Actuant in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. There she established a global Human Resources and Communications organization that included implementing an integrated human capital strategy and improving enterprise-wide services. Before her time at Actuant, Sheri was Vice President of Human Resources at Johnson Controls in Milwaukee and Director of Human Resources and Communication at Johns Manville in Denver. Early in her career she held several HR roles of increasing responsibility at General Electric Engine Services in Arkansas City, Kansas.

David has been with Moen since 1990 when he joined the company as Manager of In-Store Service/Retail. David’s other roles have included Vice President and General Manager for Moen’s U.S. Wholesale Business Unit, President - U.S. Faucets, Vice President - Faucet and Sink Marketing, Vice President - Marketing and Product Development, and various product manager roles. Under David’s leadership, Moen was named the EPA’s 2010 WaterSense Manufacturing Partner of the Year. David received an undergraduate degree in economics from Kenyon College and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Dave joined MasterBrand Cabinets as President in 2012. Dave had been President of Therma-Tru since 2007, after 24 years at Armstrong World Industries where he held a variety of leadership roles, including CEO of the company’s European floor covering business based in Germany. Prior to that, Dave led Armstrong’s European ceilings business based in the UK, served as General Manager of Manufacturing-Building Products, where he was responsible for several plants worldwide, and was Plant Manager in Shanghai, China, and Columbus, Ohio. Dave holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University and an MBA from Mercer University.

Nick joined the Company as Senior Vice President - Global Growth and Development in June of 2015. Nick brings more than 16 years of international and consumer brand experience with an expertise in strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and law.

Prior to coming to Fortune Brands, Nick worked at Beam Suntory, Inc., where he was the President of Asia Pacific and South America, leading eight operating units in 45 markets throughout the region including Brazil, India, China and Australia. In that role, Nick led the return of the business to market share growth in its core Australian business, as well as across all other measured markets, while also leading the integration of the Suntory operating units in the region into the legacy Beam business.

Prior to that he was Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for Beam, Inc. He also served as the Managing Director of Beam Global Canada where he led an acceleration of the business resulting in multiple years of market-beating growth. Prior to that he led the global marketing and the U.S. P & L for the Courvoisier brand. Fink first joined Beam Global Spirits & Wine as its Associate General Counsel in 2006. He began his legal career at Bell, Boyd and Lloyd in Chicago where he was a partner in the corporate practice group. Nick received his Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree from the Institut d'Etudes des Relations Internationales, in Paris, France.
