We have built a strong ESG foundation, and have taken additional steps to elevate the Company’s focus on ESG issues that will enable even greater progress and value-creation ahead.
Fortune Brands’ 2020 ESG Report, published in April 2021, includes many key enhancements, such as:

- Additional environmental metrics
- Additional diversity metrics and information on DEI programs
- Links to our human rights policy
- Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) content index
This 2020 ESG Report marks the first year we have prepared our report under guidance from the GRI Standards. During 2021 Fortune Brands will update this report to include responses for the Sustainability Disclosure Topics and Accounting Metrics specified by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) for the Building Products & Furnishings Industry. We are also evaluating the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework for potential inclusion in future reports.
